No More Commissions. Pass Cut, Cap & Balance.

As Senate prepares to vote on Cut, Cap & Balance, President Obama and Congressional leaders are working on a “fallback” debt limit increase deal. As a report today from CNN states, this Plan B deal would give the President a blank check debt limit increase in return for another “commission meant to find more major spending cuts, tax increases and entitlement reforms.” We don’t need another useless commission, and we don’t need more tax increases to grow the federal government even larger. We need to cut spending, cap spending and pass a balanced budget amendment to force Washington to stop spending more than we’re bringing in. No more tax-hike commissions. We must pass Cut, Cap & Balance. 3 Decades, 17 Commissions, Trillion in New Debt January 1982 – Commission on Fiscal Accountability of the Nation’s Energy Resources — Debt at .14 Trillion January 1983 – National Commission on Social Security Reform – – Debt at .20 Trillion January 1984 – Executive Committee of the President’s Private Sector Survey on Cost Control in the Federal Government aka – Grace Commission — Debt at .43 Trillion July 1993 – National Commission on Financial Institution Reform, Recovery and Enforcement – Debt at .35 Trillion September 1993 – From Red Tape to Results: Creating a Government that Works Better and Costs Less (Gore Commission) – Debt at .41 Trillion October 1997 – National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare – Debt at .42 Trillion February 1999 – Commission

check debt question by Ujyathica: Can I write a check to the government for “my share” *rolls eyes* in the US Debt of k?
then renounce my citizenship?

I really think its wrong what this countries idiot leaders have done to other countries. They deserve the money they are owed, and I don’t want to live in this country anymore.

It doesn’t seem like giving the money to the US government would be the best choice. Is figuring out what countries have stake in this shitty countries debt, and sending them their share of my “Debt” the better option.

I ma moving to Denmark either way.

What do I need to do to be free of all debt, and therefor no longer bound to this country w/ taxes and such?

Sure. If you like Socialism, you’ll love Denmark.

I’m always amused at people complaining the government is spending too much and then claim they are moving to another country that taxes more, and spends more than the US has ever, or likely will ever, spend per capita.
