Unsolicited Call From Debt Consolidator!

Jeremy receives a call from a debt consolidation company asking him what debt he has on what loan or credit card. He’s not happy with their opportunism or their encouraging people to get into debt and never pay it back, so he decides to take the mick a little… This is a video of an actual call which is why it looks a bit amateurish…. as we are literally recording it on a phone after it has started!!

debt consolidator question by qqtip2001: What happens when you go to a debt consolidator?
My cousin lost all of his overtime work and is now struggling to pay his mortgage and other bills. He said he went to a “debt-consolidator”. What exactly do they do? Are they a another form of rip-off? Doesn’t this ruin your credit rating and prevent you from getting a credit card? Kindly share.

Two options he should have taken first.
1. Get a book on Credit and Debt Repair from a library or bookstore.
There are books that will make you a pro at settling, negotiating, or reducing payments.
These books have all the tricks and tips – no need to pay anyone.

2. He should have contacted a non-profit agency.
National Foundation for Credit Councelling. NFCC.org
This non-profit can do what is in the books at no cost to you.
Reviews call them angels from above.

Guide your friend in these two path ways since these debt consolidation companies are sometimes debt negotiating and settlement companies.
They will easily destroy credit and take thousands of dollars to line their pockets.
Meanwhile the bills go unpaid.
What company is he with? Google the name of the company followed by the word(s):
Review, complaint, rip-off report, bbb.org, scam
So you can read the reviews and see exactly how they operate – not a pretty thing…
